Abstract

Along with world linguists, Russian linguists have studied the verb and its categories in various aspects. In particular, the Russian linguist M. Smotrisky in his work "Grammatika" initiated the first systematic study of the grammar of the Russian language. In addition, the article analyzes the information about the views of a number of Russian scientists regarding the verb and its categories.
