Abstract

Medicine traditions were formed on the basis of peopleʼs economy, adaptation to the natural geographical environment and experiences gained as a result of daily life. Scientific research of medical traditions creates a basis for studying views about material and immaterial cultural wealth and empirical knowledge of the people. This article provides information about the importance of medicinal plants in the development of folk medicine.
