Abstract
This article discusses the concept of a decentralized shareholder voting system based on blockchain technology. The main focus is on theoretical aspects, such as the principles of blockchain operation, features of voting via blockchain, and requirements for shareholder voting systems taking into account legal and corporate standards. Particular attention is paid to the comparison of traditional centralized and decentralized voting systems by key indicators, including security, transparency, cost, and speed. A concept for implementing a decentralized voting system is also proposed, including its technical aspects, voting process, security and anonymity mechanisms, and fraud prevention methods. The article provides a rationale for using blockchain for shareholder voting as a promising solution that helps increase trust, reduce costs, and ensure transparency of corporate processes.
