Abstract

In toponymy, the analysis of toponyms based on their grammatical structure allows us to determine their semantic features and lexical basis. The article highlights simple and complex types of oikonyms of Karakalpakstan based on their grammatical structure. The functional and semantic properties of affixes in territorial geographical names are revealed.
