Abstract
This article analyzes the domestic political factors that influenced the Indo-Pakistani conflict of 1947-1965. The study examines the political, social, and institutional changes in both countries from independence to 1965. The results show that the internal political dynamics of both countries had a significant impact on the escalation of the conflict
