Abstract
This article examines the vocabulary of diplomatic terms in Turkish. The main focus is on the analysis of various types of terminological variants, including semasiological (graphic and phonetic-graphic) and onomasiological (morphological-syntactic, elliptical, abbreviated and component) forms. The study shows that variants of terms predominate in diplomatic vocabulary, while synonyms are most often represented by partial synonyms. The work contributes to a deeper understanding of linguistic processes in the specialized field of diplomacy and reveals cultural and historical aspects that influence the development of terminology.
