The article gives information as to the lifestyle, holidays, customs, traditions and rituals of shia communities in Samarkand through field research. Additionally, the study analyzes the approaches of Samarkand’s shia communities in conducting various ceremonies such as “Ashura”, “shome gharibon”, “Bibi mushkulkushod”, “khinobandon”, “Novruz” and “koshchinon”.
