Abstract

This article examines the core principles of the philosophy of pragmatism: knowledge, truth, value, and the process of cognition from the perspective of practical application. It explores the philosophical foundations of interpreting knowledge as a means of action, truth as an idea justified through practice, and values as phenomena defined by real-life utility. The article also highlights the influence of pragmatism on modern thinking through such directions as instrumentalism, fallibilism, and verificationism. Pragmatism is presented as an active, inquiry-based position of consciousness, emphasizing the unity of theory and practice.
