Abstract
Information is provided about the views of our great compatriot Hakim Termizi, who lived and worked in the 10th century, and who made an invaluable contribution to the development of Arabic linguistics with his linguistic views formed on the basis of Sufi teachings, regarding his theory of synonymy and its differences from the existing theories in Arabic linguistics.
