This article analyzes the issues of implementing modern international teaching methodologies in mathematics education in general secondary schools of Uzbekistan. The study examines the theoretical and practical aspects of the Singapore mathematics education system, particularly the CPA (Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract) model and the Bar Model approach, as well as the “Lesson Study” methodology widely applied in Japanese educational practice. The analysis substantiates the role of these approaches in developing students’ conceptual understanding of mathematical ideas, logical thinking, and independent problem-solving skills. Practical examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the CPA model in teaching fractions and arithmetic problem solving.
