Аннотация

This article analyzes the symbolic and psychological interpretations of the moon in Uzbek oral folklore. Since ancient times, the moon has been perceived as a mysterious and divine force, symbolizing femininity, purity, love, and spiritual transformation. In Uzbek songs, legends the moon appears as a metaphor for beauty and emotional depth. The study draws on Jung‘s theory of archetypes and Eliade’s mythological interpretations to explore how the moon’s image has evolved in the collective consciousness and artistic expression of the Uzbek people.
