Abstract

This article analyzes the phenomenon of dreams based on Karakalpak mythology and literary heritage using an integrative approach. First, the role of dreams in epic composition and their symbolic-semantic structure are examined. In addition, the aesthetic and socio-ethical functions of dream motifs in oral folklore are identified. Furthermore, the dream phenomenon is comparatively analyzed in relation to psychological and archetypal theories. As a result, dreams are scientifically substantiated as a multi-layered and integrative cultural phenomenon in Karakalpak tradition.
