TOURISM INFRASTRUCTURE IN KHIVA CITY: STATE POLICY, NEWS, AND PROSPECTS

Аннотация
This article analyzes the state policy, implemented measures, and future prospects for the development of tourism infrastructure in Khiva. It provides a scientific commentary based on the resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2019–2022 concerning the enhancement of tourism potential in Khorezm region and Khiva city, ensuring safe tourism, developing cultural heritage sites, and modernizing infrastructure. Additionally, the significance of Khiva's first “smart city-museum” project and the opportunities to promote the city on the global tourism map through a digital management system are examined. The article includes a scientifically grounded analysis related to state policy and practical measures.
