Аннотация
In this article, the evolution of the game phenomenon, its biological functions, and sociocultural essence are analyzed within the framework of philosophical reflection, which emphasizes that the game began to appear at a certain stage in the evolution of nature, in conjunction with the formation of a psychophysiological apparatus that complicates the relationship and interaction of beings. The universal nature of the game for all relations throughout the history of mankind and its embodied characteristics in various manifestations of the human mind are considered.
