ASPECT AND TENSE IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH VERBS: A COMPARATIVE STUDY AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACH

Abstract
The article presents the problem of foreign students studying the categories of type and tense of the Russian verb. The relevance of the issue lies in the fact that the topics related to the study of these grammatical categories are particularly difficult today. A verb is a part of speech that is the most semantically significant in the Russian language. Russian as a foreign language The results of the work will be applicable both to important scientific tasks related to the understanding of these categories in the Russian language, and to practical tasks that will be used during classes in Russian as a foreign language. Russian verb theory The purpose of this study is not only to conduct a comparative analysis of Russian and English verbs, to find differences in the interaction of the categories of type and tense of verbs on stylistically and thematically different specific examples in Russian and English, but also to develop a mechanism for the presentation of educational material on topics related to the study of the categories of type and tense of the Russian verb.
