Abstract

This article explores the polyfunctional nature of authorial participation in Khayriddin Sulton’s collection “Stories Heard from People”, where the narratives are told from the “I” perspective. The author’s mastery is revealed through his multi-stage functional involvement as a listener, selector, interpreter, composer, character creator, and stylist.
