Abstract
This article examines the work of the renowned Karakalpak writer Amet Shamuratov. In particular, Amet Shamuratov's poetic skill, lyrical poems, the theme of his poetry, the theme of the Motherland, labor, friendship, and love. Amet Shamuratov's poems written during the years of the Second World War are analyzed. His epics and dramatic works will be considered. Amet Shamuratov's prose is studied from the perspective of comparative-typological analysis. The creative individuality of the poet, playwright, and writer Amet Shamuratov is studied based on historical and comparative-typological research methods.
