Theoretical and Legal Foundations of Environmental Law and Human Rights

Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical and legal foundations of the interrelation between environmental law and human rights. In the context of modern global environmental problems, the human right to a favorable and healthy environment is recognized as one of the fundamental rights. The article also scientifically substantiates the concept, subject, and system of environmental law, as well as the role of environmental rights within the system of human rights. In addition, the legal mechanisms for ensuring and protecting environmental rights in the Republic of Uzbekistan are examined.
