THE IMPACT OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE (EDUCATION AND HEALTHCARE) IN THE SOUTHERN REGIONS ON THE WELFARE OF THE POPULATION

This article analyzes the reforms implemented during the years of independence in the social infrastructure system, particularly in the fields of education and healthcare, in the southern regions of Uzbekistan — Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya provinces — and their impact on the welfare of the population. The study examines the positive changes observed in the living standards of the population as a result of the establishment of new schools, higher educational institutions, medical centers, and rural medical units, the introduction of digital technologies, improvements in the quality of healthcare services, and the expansion of educational coverage. Furthermore, the article scientifically highlights the impact of infrastructural development on employment, demographic processes, and cultural life.
