STATE (PUBLIC) FUNCTIONS FOR ENERGY MANAGEMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

This article examines the issues of state legal impact on the energy sector of the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also defines the types and structure of public functions in the field of energy management and includes the analysis of the regulatory framework, planning and development of the energy management strategy, its coordination and control. Based on theoretical and practical examples, the article analyses certain provisions of the legislation, their economic determinants influencing the emergence of new public functions in the field of energy management. The research outputs are based on both the legal framework of the Republic of Uzbekistan and doctrinal perspectives abroad. The author reflects on the public administration system through its functions and logical sequence as well as identifies the peculiarities of the processes currently implemented and the administrative and legal mechanisms employed in public energy management of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The conclusions presented in the article can be applied in law enforcement and for academic purposes.
