The article discusses the circumstances to be proven in the proceedings on the application of compulsory measures of a medical nature, the issues determined by the forensic psychiatric examination, the importance and significance of the participation of a lawyer, the procedure for bringing the case to court, questions about the cancellation or change of medical coercion measures, some opinions, a proposal and comments on the legal status of an insane person who has committed a socially dangerous act or a person who is mentally ill who was recognized after the commission of a crime.
