Abstract

This article is devoted to the historical and modern role of women in the development of science. It analyzes the discoveries made by women scientists from antiquity to the 21st century, the social barriers they faced, and their achievements in the modern scientific sphere. The article also examines the positive impact of gender equality on scientific development and the factors that hinder the realization of women’s scientific potential.
