THE ECONOMIC FACTORS OF TASHKENT UPRISING IN 1892

Abstract
This article examines the economic causes and popular discontent that led to the Tashkent uprising of June, 1892. The author analyzes the economic factors and colonial policies that led to the uprising based on the studied sources. The study scientifically substantiated that the main factor in the uprising was the struggle against colonial policies. The paper also drew on the analysis of Imperial Press data for the first time.
