INTERCULTURAL LACUNAE IN THE TRANSMISSION OF UZBEK CULTURAL CONCEPTS INTO RUSSIAN LINGUOCULTURE
Зубайдуллаев, Ибодулло, Омонова, Мадина
Abstract
The article examines the problems of conveying Uzbek cultural concepts into Russian linguoculture in the context of intercultural lacunas. The authors conduct a comparative analysis of lacunas in both cultures, examining key Uzbek concepts (mahalla, hashar, osh, or-nomus, barakat, tavfiq, ustoz) and Russian ones (avos’, toska, пошлость, dusha). Particular attention is paid to the causes of lacunas, their cultural-cognitive nature, and strategies of compensation in translation and intercultural communication. The work is based on the linguocultural approach and demonstrates the bidirectional nature of lacunarity in Russian-Uzbek dialogue.
