CONTEXTUALITY IN THE “SAMANDAR” DIVAN OF SHOIRA SHAMS

This article is devoted to the analysis of the contextual aspects of the poems in the “Samandar” collection of Uzbek poetess Shoira Shams. The article studies the relationship of the poems with the social, historical and cultural context, the reflection of the poet’s personal experience and national identity. The artistic and aesthetic properties of the verses in the collection and their contextual meanings are also analyzed. The research used contextual analysis, semiotic approach and literary hermeneutics methods. As a result, it is revealed that the “Samandar” divan occupies a unique place in Uzbek poetry and that contextuality plays an important role in the poet’s creative style. The article serves as an important source for students of contemporary poetry in Uzbek literature.
