Abstract

This article examines the introduction of the dramaturgy genre into Karakalpak litearature and the staging of dastans, which are considered oral folk creations, by early playwrights in this field in order to develob this genre , adapting them to field of drama. In this regard, the creation of the first dramatic works in Karakalpak dramaturgy reflects the issues of the embodiment of folklore epics in images and their stylization on stage.
