THE HISTORY OF CULTURAL COOPERATION BETWEEN UZBEKISTAN AND THE CENTRAL ASIAN STATES
Xalilova, Madina
Abstract
This article analyzes the history of cultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Central Asian states through the principles of historicism and regional analysis. It examines ancient and medieval urban centers, caravan routes, educational and scholarly environments, institutional cultural links of the Soviet period, and new forms of cooperation after independence. Cultural cooperation is interpreted not merely as a set of official events, but as a continuous process connected with shared historical memory, language, literature, art, education, pilgrimage practices, and the protection of cultural heritage.
