Аннотация
This article examines the role of grammatical competence in the development of communicative competence among learners of a foreign language, particularly in higher education contexts. The study highlights the interdependence between grammar knowledge and effective communication, emphasizing the importance of integrating grammar instruction into communicative approaches. Special attention is given to modern pedagogical strategies that promote active learner engagement and contextualized grammar acquisition. The article argues that grammatical competence serves as a foundational component that enables learners to produce accurate and meaningful utterances in real-life communication.
