THE CONCEPT OF PUBLIC DISORDERS AND MEASURES TO PREVENT IT

Abstract

This article discusses the provisions of the criminal law on liability for mass riots. The legal, doctrinal definitions of this crime are analyzed. Article 244 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan highlights the problematic issues of understanding the elements of "mass riots". The article also analyzes the specifics and differences between the crime of mass riots and the crime of hooliganism, and identifies the main features of the qualification of the crime of public disorders. The Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan is based on proposals to improve the definition of the concept of mass riots.
