Abdullayeva, Muazzam
Аннотация
This article analyzes the ethnic origins and migration processes of the tribes that lived in the South Aral Sea region (the lower reaches of the Amu Darya and the southern shores of the Aral Sea). It examines the migrations of nomadic peoples that occurred in the region during this period, the destruction of settlements, the influence of the Sassanids and the Turkic Khaganate, as well as issues of integration of sedentary and nomadic cultures. The analysis of archaeological and written sources shows that this period was a time of crisis, ethnic changes, and the formation of new political structures in the region.
