EMPATHETIC THINKING AS A PEDAGOGICAL CATEGORY

Abstract

This article examines the essence of empathic thinking as a pedagogical category, its content, structural components, and significance in the educational process. The role of empathic thinking in personality development is highlighted as a result of the integration of empathy and thinking. The cognitive, affective, and behavioral components of empathic thinking are theoretically substantiated. The findings allow empathic thinking to be interpreted as one of the essential categories of modern pedagogy.
