Jo‘rayeva, Risolatxon
Abstract
This article examines the function of letters as a narrative element unifying the plot in Ulugbek Hamdam’s novel Sabo and Samandar. The study focuses on the letters exchanged between lovers and friends, analyzing their role in revealing the characters’ inner world, advancing the plot, and ensuring the compositional integrity of the work. The findings show that the epistolary form serves as an important structural component of the novel, deepening the conflict, expressing psychological experiences, and contributing to the artistic and ideological unity of the narrative.
