TEACHING ADJECTIVES BASED ON A.I. KUPRIN’S NOVELLA “THE GARNET BRACELET”

Abstract
The article compares traditional and contextual methods of teaching adjectives using an excerpt from A.I. Kuprin’s novel The Garnet Bracelet. An experiment conducted in Grade 7 at School No. 11 in Urgench demonstrated that independent work with a literary text ensures deeper and more long-lasting retention of the material.
