THE TRADITION OF THE “TEN METHODS” IN SUFI TEACHINGS AND ITS INTERPRETATION IN FICTION

Abstract
This article examines the tradition of the “Ten Methods” (Usul al-ashara) in Sufi teachings, particularly within the Kubraviya order, which left a profound impact on the literary and spiritual environment of Khwarazm. The spiritual stations outlined in Najmuddin Kubra’s treatise "Usul al-ashara" are comparatively analyzed with the systems of Imam Ghazali and Shihabuddin Suhrawardi. Additionally, the Quranic foundations of this ten-fold method and its literary-artistic interpretation in later Sufi literature, particularly in the works of Kamaluddin Husayn Khwarazmi and Khoja Qazi Payvandi, are highlighted.
