A LINGUAPOETIC ANALYSIS OF SIMILES IN THE WORKS OF KUZI DAVLAT

Simile, considered one of the figurative means of artistic language, is distinguished by its ability to enhance imagery and descriptiveness, as well as its extraordinary poetic expressiveness. In this article, the linguistic-formal and semantic-aesthetic features of similes are investigated from a linguopoetic perspective based on the materials of the divan “Koʻngil chiroyi” and the novella “Istiqlol qaldirgʻochlari” by the well-known writer Kuzi Davlat. Through the research based on the principle of identifying poetically actualized language tools in an artistic text, formal indicators and semantic-thematic groups of comparison standards are comprehensively classified.
