Abstract
This article examines the essence of responsibility and its role as a normative mechanism for ensuring sustainable development. It analyzes the forms of responsibility at the individual, societal, and state levels, as well as their impact on social, economic, and environmental processes. The study substantiates the importance of legal, moral, and social responsibility in achieving sustainable development goals.
