Annotatsiya

This article examines the issues of accuracy and consistency in the lexicographic definitions of behavioral verbs in the Uzbek language. Behavioral verbs represent important lexical units expressing moral, psychological, and social actions of individuals. The study analyzes dictionary definitions of selected behavioral verbs and evaluates their semantic accuracy and consistency. The findings reveal cases of synonym-based definitions, insufficient representation of evaluative components, and inconsistencies across lexicographic interpretations.
