THE HISTORY OF COMMUNICATION SERVICES IN THE BUKHARAN PEOPLE’S SOVIET REPUBLIC

Abstract
This article examines the formation and development of communication services in the Bukharan People’s Soviet Republic. It analyzes postal, telegraph, telephone and radio communication as important elements of state administration, economic life and everyday social needs. Special attention is paid to postal and telegraph activities, the Bukharan Telegraph Agency, personnel training and the introduction of new communication technologies in 1921-1924.
