THE CONCEPT AND SIGNS OF EMBEZZLEMENT IN CRIMINAL LAW

Abstract

Within the framework of this article, the author theoretically analyzed the concept of theft in the criminal legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, its signs and definitions, as well as the concepts of theft, and justified them with statistical data. In addition, the author conducted a comparative legal analysis of the concept of “embezzlement” in the criminal codes of such countries as the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and made proposals for introducing a legal definition of embezzlement into the criminal legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
