Аннотация
This article examines the historical aspects of the creation of the World Trade Organization, the two main stages of the organization's development, historical and modern, analyzes international legal documents, the main goals of the WTO, functions, principles, studies the fundamental work of scientists on the creation of the WTO, the course of negotiations on the development of the organization, technical work of the draft Agreement, the history is considered in detail the development of the Uruguay Round, the difficulties of reaching agreement on a full package of the Agreement containing almost the entire range of trade issues.
