CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR ENCROACHMENTS ON THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN AND PROSPECTS FOR ITS IMPROVEMENT

Abstract
The article deals with the issues of criminal liability for attacks on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its improvement. In particular, the article provides a legal analysis for the crime of encroachment on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The views of scientists from Russia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine and other countries, as well as domestic scientists on this crime are also presented. Theoretically, it is argued that this crime is among the crimes of a terrorist nature. In addition, in the course of the study of this crime, the definition of a new act "Infringement on a state or public figure" as a criminal offense is substantiated.
