MODERN APPROACHES TO THE CONCEPT OF INFRASTRUCTURE: HISTORICAL ANALYSIS

Abstract
The article examines modern approaches to the concept of infrastructure and its role in economic and social development from both historical and practical perspectives. It analyzes the formation of infrastructure in Uzbekistan during the transition to a market economy, the functions of production and social infrastructure networks, as well as ways to adapt foreign experience to local conditions. The study highlights the impact of infrastructure on urbanization, economic growth, and social development, and provides scientific conclusions regarding its prospects for contemporary development.
