Abstract
This article provides a historical analysis of the institutional and economic development of the household service system in the southern regions of Uzbekistan during the years of independence. The study highlights the reforms implemented in the transition to a market economy, particularly focusing on the privatization of enterprises, expansion of service types, and improvement of management systems.
