Аннотация

This article examines current trends in the development of internet vocabulary in Russian. It examines the main methods of forming new words and expressions: borrowing, calques, affixation, abbreviations, and morphological play. The causes of internet neologisms are analyzed, including the influence of social media, instant messaging, globalization, and technological change. Examples of current internet vocabulary are presented, identifying its semantic and morphological features. The study demonstrates that internet vocabulary is a dynamic part of language and reflects the sociocultural processes of modern society.
