Аннотация
This article provides examples of geographical terms formed through morphological methods and explores their formation processes, specifically focusing on suffixation, prefixation, interfixes, and infixes. A comprehensive analysis and comparison of the most active geographical terms and their respective affixes in the English and Uzbek languages are conducted. The study emphasizes that the addition of affixes to a root word results in the formation of a derivative word, supported by illustrative examples.
