SPORT DISCOURSE AS THE OBJECT OF PRAGMATICS

Аннотация

This article focuses on the pragmatic analysis of sports discourse. Sports language notonly describes events but also plays a crucial role in shaping social cohesion and emotional solidarity. Thearticle identifies three main directions of sports discourse: institutional context, personal communication,and audience discourse. Football fans' chants, slogans, and online comments are analyzed as discursivepragmatic acts. The findings of the study show that sports discourse has a layered structure, and itsillocutionary and perlocutionary forces contribute to the construction of identity and collective unity withinsociety
