In the article, from a scientific and theoretical point of view, the author systematically analyzes the legal foundations for ensuring the openness of the activities of state bodies and their improvement. Also, the formation of the legal basis for ensuring the transparency of the activities of state bodies is divided into separate stages, the constant improvement of the created legal framework, the role and importance of ensuring the openness of the activities of state bodies in the implementation of the constitutional rights of citizens to freely search and receive information are scientifically and substantiated.
