RETROSPECTIVE ANALYSIS OF THE LEGAL REGULATION OF THE RESTRICTION OF INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS IN THE PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION

In the article, a historical and progressive analysis of the restriction of individual rights during the preliminary investigation process, which is the stage of the criminal process of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is carried out. Retrospective analysis was carried out according to the rules and laws governing the conduct of criminal proceedings in our country during the period of the Khanate, the period of colonization by Tsarist Russia, and the period of the former Soviet Union. The purpose of the article is to contribute to its further improvement and adaptation to democratic principles, analyzing the historical development of the restriction of individual rights.
