Abstract
This article examines the historical issues of the formation of international legal regulation of international relations in the field of international information exchange and the development of the formation of international principles in the field of information security. The purpose of this article is to define a number of principles for the dissemination of information in the international space based on the features and legal properties of information set out in international treaties in the field of information security. Taking into account the set of formed international legal norms in the field of international information exchange, the basic principles governing international information law are outlined, taking into account the goals and objectives of the functioning of information and communication technologies.
