MEASURES TO PREVENT TORTURE

Abstract

In the development of human society, the problems of preventing the commission of socially dangerous acts and crimes arose after the adoption of laws. According to Plato and Aristotle, one of the early pioneers of Western philosophy, society needs to have laws to prevent a person from committing a crime. Also, according to enlightened scientists of the 18th century, in particular, Montesquieu, any government should take care of preventing crimes, and not punishing crimes. This scientific article is devoted to these and other issues related to the prevention of torture.
